Before You Book
What To Expect For Your First Appointment
Welcome
Your Path to Healing Starts Here
If this is your first time visiting us, you're in the right place. Our holistic clinic blends natural medicine with advanced technology and care that puts you first.
Your first visit is all about connection and understanding. We’ll take time to hear your story, explore what’s going on, and begin building a care plan that’s right for you.
Here’s what to expect:
Before your visit, you’ll complete detailed intake forms so your provider can review your history in advance. During your appointment, we’ll talk through your symptoms, lifestyle, emotional well-being, and health goals. This is your space to share openly so we can understand not only what is going on, but why.
We’ll check vitals, complete a nutritional physical exam, and may recommend initial fasting labs or a body composition scan. These steps help identify early patterns and guide next testing.
Rather than stopping at surface-level symptoms, we use advanced functional medicine tools — from targeted labs to genetic or gut health testing — to uncover imbalances that may be affecting your whole-body health.
You’ll leave your appointment with clarity and direction. Based on your needs, we may recommend further labs, nutrition and lifestyle shifts, or introduce supportive therapies like IV infusions, sauna, or red light therapy.
Healing is a journey, and you won’t walk it alone. Our goal is for you to leave feeling heard, hopeful, and motivated — knowing you have a care team alongside you every step of the way.

FAQs About Your Visit
To preserve the integrity of our holistic approach, The Healthy Place Holistic Clinic does not participate with insurance. Insurance companies often limit treatment options, appointment times, and testing methods. By remaining independent, we can fully customize care and recommend what we believe is best for each individual — without restrictions or compromise.
Payment is required in full at the time of service. However, we can provide a detailed receipt you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Most HSA and FSA plans recognize naturopathic and holistic health services as eligible medical expenses.
Intake forms are sent electronically after you schedule your appointment. We ask that you complete them at least 72 hours before your visit so your provider can review them in advance.
Most new patient visits include non-invasive testing such as body composition analysis (muscle mass, hydration, fat percentage, bone density), bio-electrical impedance analysis, and SECA scanning. Additional functional testing—such as gut health, bloodwork, or nutrigenomics—may also be recommended depending on your needs.
Yes. With your permission, we’re happy to collaborate with your care team to ensure your plan is clear, comprehensive, and supportive of your long-term goals.
